Named TeamWorks International India Country Director
After an 18-month search the director position is filled
to support relationships with India community partners

BEAVERTON, Ore.- Bangalore Executive Vice President and Business Manager Dr. Bijan Gupta, whose global leadership experience dates back to 1981, has been accepted as the new TeamWorks International India Country
Director.
Gupta, 53, was selected this week by the volunteer recruitment committee and confirmed as the India Country
Director. Born and raised in India, Gupta will coordinate TeamWorks endeavors for from his home office in Bangalore, Karnataka, in India.
"After conducting an 18-month search and evaluating the complex requirements for leadership in TeamWorks
International, I am very excited that Dr. Gupta has accepted our offer to be our next India Country Director," said CEO Matt Gerber. "Dr. Gupta is very talented, and we believe he is uniquely gifted to think globally and take initiative to support our ever-expanding community partnerships in India."
Dr. Gupta was born and did his schooling in the City of Joy, the work place of Mother Teresa in Kolkata (Calcutta) in eastern India. His college education was in a residential technical institute in the city of Kharagpur, near Kolkata. Bijan spent his early professional life in Delhi, the capital of India. He lived there for 6 years before moving to Bangalore, located in the southern part of India, where he has lived for the past 14 years. Bijan was in the Marketing and Sales Department of a Biotech company and had the opportunity to travel all
over India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangladesh.
Bijan is married with one son who is studying in the United States. He has started his own consultancy company recently, Bio Innovation (India), in Bangalore after taking early retirement from his previous company. He bring to
TeamWorks International his extensive experience in science, leadership, and
organizational development.
